1974 Cheech and Chong – Earache My Eye
Cheech and Chong released a series of records that played off the drug counterculture in the early seventies. Their success peaked in 1974 when their single Earache Me Eye somehow reached the top ten.
Beginning in 1978, the duo began making a series of films that also focused on drug use. The duo split up in the eighties when Cheech turned away from the drug themes.
Sadly, in 2003, Chong plead guilty to conspiring to distribute drug paraphernalia and spent seven months in jail.
