1975 Esther Phillips – What A Difference A Day Makes

1975 Esther Phillips – What A Difference A Day Makes

Esther Phillips began recording hit records in 1950 when she was billed as Little Esther. Her career cycled over the next few decades as a result of her battle with heroin addictions.

Dinah Washington reached the top ten in 1958 with her version of What A Difference A Day Makes.

Esther recorded a disco-flavored cover of the song that peaked at #20 on the Hot 100 in 1975. It was to be her last appearance on the chart.
